Has been a member since 2018, previously bowling at other local clubs. Enjoys playing competitive league matches.

Norma has been a club member for several years. She enjoys playing competitive bowls where she plays in two teams and is captain of one of them.

Do you offer a variety of memberships?

The club offers:
- Full Membership at a cost of £30 per year which includes the possibility to also bowl during the Autumn, Winter and early Spring periods
- Winter Membership at a cost of £15 for the Autumn, Winter and early Spring periods
- Social Membership at a cost of £30 per year for those players only  wishing to enjoy bowling socially and not in a local league.

Do you have car parking facilities

The club provides a large spacious car park close to the bowling Green.
There is 1 parking space for anyone who has mobility badge.

Does the club offer toilet facities?

Within the club portacabin there are toilet facilities for Ladies and also Gentlemen.

Do you have spectator facilities?

The club offers a variety of spectator facilities.
These include large shelters on two sides of the bowling green.
There are also seating tables spread around the bowling green.
It is also possible to view a match from within the portacabin.

When are the bowling facilities open?

The bowling green is open 7 days a week at any time of the day when home league matches are not being played.
The portacabin will only be open with toilet facilities during league matches.

Do you provide coaching?

We do not have formal coaching sessions but many of our experienced bowlers will only be to happy to give you guidance and tips on how to bowl.

What age limits are there for becoming a member?

There are no age limits.
The club welcomes anyone and any age.
Juniors through to the more mature bowlers.

The Bowling Club has been on this site for many decades and participated in local league and cup competitions over those years.
